Dr. Mario Kölling is senior researcher and project manager of the Manuel Giménez Abad Foundation. From 2011 to 2014 he was Garcia Pelayo Researcher at the Centro de Estudios Politicos y Constitucionales (CEPC) in Madrid. He is graduated by the University of Potsdam (Germany) and holds a Ph.D from the University of Zaragoza in Public Law.

In his research on preference formation he combines the analysis of EU negotiations, with insights from the logic of the EU budget and constitutional provisions of EU member states, he is also interested and works actively on issues related to Federalism and the Spanish Autonomous State. In his research project at the CEPC he analyzes the variables, which determine the preferences of the governments of member states in the negotiation on the financial framework 2014-2020.

 

Mario Kölling es Investigador y coordinador de proyectos de la Fundación Manuel Giménez Abad. Desde 2011 hasta 2014 fue investigador García Pelayo del Centro de Estudios Políticos y Constitucionales en Madrid entre 2011 y 2014. Es Licenciado en Ciencias Políticas por la Universidad de Potsdam y Doctor con Mención Europea por la Universidad de Zaragoza.

En su línea de investigación actual analiza las variables que determinan las preferencias de los gobiernos de los estados miembros en la negociación sobre el marco financiero 2014-2020. También trabaja en temas relacionados con el Federalismo y el Estado de las Autonomías español.
